🎟️ TICKETS & ENTRY

Do I need a ticket to get in? Yes — all visitors (including children) need a free ticket to enter. This helps us manage crowd size, parking, and safety.

Do locals need a ticket? If you live in one of these postcodes - 3782, 3159, 3781, or 3783, just show your licence at the gate and walk on through. No ticket needed!

When are tickets released for the next market? Tickets are released the Thursday before each market at 9am. Via our website.

Why have you introduced a ticketing system? To improve safety, reduce congestion, and create a better experience for everyone. This change is based on community feedback and the growing popularity of the market.

Is the market still free? Yes! Tickets are completely free — they just help us manage numbers.

Can I just show up without a ticket? No — unfortunately, entry is ticket-only. This helps us cap numbers and avoid overcrowding.

Do I need a ticket for my kids? Yes, everyone attending (including babies and children) needs their own free ticket. You can book multiple tickets in one booking.

What if I booked but can't come anymore? No worries — just cancel your ticket using the link in your confirmation email so someone else can take your place.

Can I bring others if only I booked one ticket? Each person must have their own ticket. Please book enough tickets for your whole group.

Can I cancel tickets for some people if I purchased a group ticket and someone now can’t make it? When you buy a ticket for a group (e.g. 5 people) and some can’t attend, we can’t cancel individual tickets so you will just need to keep your order as is.

📍 LOCATION & PARKING

Where is the market held? The Lost Woods Market takes place at Puffing Billy Park, Emerald Station VIC 3782, on the 2nd Saturday of every month.

🚗 WHERE CAN I PARK?

Parking in Emerald can be limited, so we’ve arranged a free shuttle bus and outlined recommended parking options to make your visit smooth and stress-free.

There is no parking at the market site itself.

👉 Parking for disabled visitors is available at the RSL, right next to the market.

We strongly encourage you to park at one of the following approved locations:

  • Emerald Secondary College – 425 Belgrave–Gembrook Rd (shuttle pick-up point – 91 car spaces)

  • Pepi’s Land Car Park – 16 Beaconsfield–Emerald Rd (approx. 750m walk along the train tracks)

  • Worrell Reserve – 402 Belgrave–Gembrook Rd (approx. 1km stroll)

  • Nobelius Heritage Park – 3 Crichton Rd, Emerald

🚍 Shuttle Bus Info:
A free shuttle bus will run regularly between 9:00am and 1:00pm from Emerald Secondary College to the market and back.

The last shuttle will leave the market at 1:00pm – please plan ahead, as walking back to your car is not recommended (3km).

⚠️ Please only park in the designated areas — parking inspectors will be present, and fines may apply for illegal parking.

🐾 DOGS & SHUTTLE BUS

Is the market dog friendly? Yes — friendly dogs are welcome on a lead. Please ensure you clean up after your pooch.

Is the shuttle bus dog friendly? No — the shuttle bus cannot accommodate dogs. But pups are welcome at the market itself.

Are prams allowed on the shuttle bus? Unfortunately, prams cannot be taken on the shuttle bus due to space restrictions.

🌦️ WEATHER & FACILITIES

Is the market on if it rains? Yes — rain, hail, or shine! We're used to Melbourne weather. Bring your umbrella, gumboots, and good vibes. If severe weather arises, check our socials for updates.

Is there an ATM at the market? No, but most stallholders have EFTPOS. If you need cash, the Emerald township is close by.

Where are the toilets located? The nearest toilets are:

Ferris Road, next to Bell Real Estate on Main Street

Worrell Reserve, next to the Hills Hub

Puffing Billy Park and Playground, opposite the playground

📣 STALL HOLDER APPLICATIONS

How do I apply to become a stallholder at The Lost Woods Market?
All stallholders must apply through a competitive process. Submit your application via our website or through the link in our socials.
Applications close two weeks before each market date.

📏 STALL SIZES & SETUP

What are the stall sizes?

  • Standard stall: 3x3m site

  • Food stalls: 3x3m to 3x6m (depending on your setup and vehicle requirements)
    Please note: No cars are permitted to stay on-site, but you may drive in to unload during setup and pack-down.

What do I need to bring?

  • A 3x3m marquee (with 4 x 20kg weights)

  • Tables, racks, or displays for your products

  • A beautifully curated mini boutique-style setup

  • A positive attitude and a big smile!

Do food stalls need anything extra?
Yes — all food and beverage vendors must supply:

  • Current Public Liability Insurance (PLI)

  • A silent generator if power is required
